You have a movie on a DVD disk and want to covert it into Divx or Xvid format. The advantage of a Divx / Xvid file is the size, the file is much smaller. If you have multiple movies on your hard drive in DVD format, your hard drive will be full very quickly, depending on the quality and length of the film, the size of the Divx / Xvid range from 700Mb to 1.5 Gb.
